  1. Here in Lesotho, cyclists don't use spare tubes or patches - too expensive. They take a smallish tub (not tube - tub) of glue, an old piece of tube and a knife to cut into patches. Shame the national champion came to visit me in my office recently and the whole tub of glue had opened and spilt in his back pocket.
  2. Without sealant, the tyre could not have inflated at all !!! A little deflation is quite normal. The beauty of Tubeless is running them a little soft anyway. You may be tempted to put more sealant in BUT BE WARNED that you must have access to good pump (like a filling station compressor) just in case. With good quality tubeless rims and tyres a good quick pump with a workshop pump can work also a CO2 bomb might work.
  3. My condolenses to the family on this very tragic loss! Where exactly did this happen? I heard it was somewhere near ladybrand. we often have riders training the road between Ladybrand and Clocolan and always thought it was a good, wide road for training.
