  1. Yikes, Mampara, that's a whole 16-page section! Printers print 16-pages per sheet so your mag is missing an entire sheet! Hope there's not more like that. Thanks for letting us know. Our to-do list for today just got reshuffled! We'll also post you another (complete) copy today.

  2.

Sean' date=' just one thing. There is absolutely nothing on your website regarding the new issue. There should be a bold banner saying it is available and maybe short teasers to what is in the mag.[/quote']

Good point. We sent info to subscribers in an email newsletter last week and put an advert on this website, but we should put something on our site too. And we will.

  3.

Thanks' date=' will go do so immediately .... do i get green socks????[/quote']

Nope, only the first 200 subscribers got socks, but you will be in the draw for the R85 000 Ibis Mojo SL...

  4. Hi all. Thanks for the compliments. Issue 2 was posted last Tuesday to subscribers from the Randburg Post Office. Assuming the postal system works smoothly, every subscriber should have his/her copy this week. Unfortunately, we have no control over the postal system. Thanks again for your enthusiastic support.

Okay' date=' maybe not so bad, but...

Sunday whilst cruising around in Knysna five of their riders still in kit post-race come riding down the road towards the Waterfront. At the robot where you would turn off to go to Thesen three of them casually ride over a red light, with no helmets on. While doing this one of the guys turns around and zapp the two riders following them...who then follow them across. Also no helmets.

A buddy who's with me son's says: "See! THEY're not wearing helmets! Why should I?"

Well done guys. Yeah, there were no cars coming and all the rest, but hell you are ambassadors for House of Paint, Cycling SA and Schwinn and all the rest. Wise up.[/quote']

The most important thing in this post has been omitted: What was your answer to this question?

The rugby series has been won already hasn't it? What's to watch? It'll be repeated ad nauseum for a few days anyway. Le Tour ITT in Monaco is where my full attention will be.

Previously' date=' the doping results of cyclists was published on CSA's site, but I hav'nt seen anything for quite  while. Recently, Anti Doping Agency conducted some random tests at the last SA XC at Fountains, I'm curious, is the positive (Or negative) results still published?[/quote']

I love this city' date=' it has so many great characteristics that only residents really get to see and appreciate.

Indeed...like hi jackings and absurd traffic congestion.

    Bites lip...

  9. Details and names, Einstein. And perhaps a constructive alternative to the situation that's got you so riled up. Without those your post is pointless.

Ouch! cptmayhem' date=' you're a good friend. Now, to be regarded as a great friend, you need to help him slay that troll as soon as possible. I have a troll to slay at the moment and I know that I have to do it sooner rather than later.

farmgate, heal fast man, you've got a troll to crush. I know you know this, but when you return to the bridge, look where you WANT to go...

Does that troll happen to be a particular section of "wet wood that doesn't look like wet wood but acts surprisingly similarly to wet wood in that it chucks you off your bike and makes you eat said not so wet-looking wet wood"?

    Wink

Oh, and don't worry - I've given him the necessary tools with which to slay said troll...

    Blackmail.

Haha... yeah, but the thing is, he had it! and then, like a deer in the headlights, carried on looking a metre in front of his wheel (which just so happened to be the exact geographical position of edge of the bridge) instead of looking at the exit point and then further on...

I think this taught him though...

Nah, sorted the damp wood troll out. Certain drop-off I tumbled off a few months back. Got straight back on and did it again, but haven't been able to do it since... Will do it though.

  12. Not many people can claim to have changed the global music landscape. Michael Jackson was one of the few that did. His musical and dance influence is still so strong among the youth. I'm sad that we've lost such a great talent, but I'm glad I was able to experience and appreciate it. Rest in peace.
