We have finalised our training camp route and can guarantee you an awesome route that will not only prepare you for a multi day stage race and put some solid training miles in your legs but it will be a ride you won?t forget in a hurry. Ride Details<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> This training tour follows the basic Pioneers MTB Tour route just with epic proportions as we add in some extra distance and technical riding. Day 1: ~105km of mixed terrain following some spectacular tracks along the west coast starting in Langebaan going via Saldanha nature reserve, Jacobsbaai, Vredenburg and finishing in the Cape Columbine nature reserve for the night and sleeping less than 5 meters from the sea. Day 2: ~102km of some more spectacular riding passing through the fishing villages of Paternoster, Stompneusbaai, St Helena and Veldrif on route to the Piketberg. The final climb upto 980m in the last 18km of the day will prove a test for all especially on the 10% gradient of some of the sections. the end of the hardest day will see you spend the night in a mountain cabin on top of the world. Day 3: ~90km of slightly easier riding but no less spectacular riding. Start the day off with a 15km descent of epic proportions and then spend most of the morning winding through the Piketberg passing through Kapteinskloof on the way down to the berg river. The luxurious farm guesthouse at the end of the road on the banks of the Berg river will be a welcome sight after 3 days of hard riding. Day 4: ~60km of easy riding back into Langebaan from the Berg river will be an ideal way to let the legs recover and reflect on 4 days of awesome west coast riding with amazing scenery and awesome overnight stops.   6. Yip, I am back to Fox after only riding Rock Shox for a few years. We will have to see how often it needs servicing, that has always been a problem for me. I was not aware that Rock Shox was going to 150mm I thought they were only going to 140mm.
