  1. I do hear what you're saying and it did happen once upon a time. Things do change, but it's worth trying to get back to that point. This, for one, is a good step forward. Perhaps next time round a sponsor can make up the difference in cost. We all have the power to influence this, we all have the passion, but it's often times too much for one person to take on. It feels like such an isolated event when not dressed up to represent your country, and intimidating when riding against a mass of italians who are dressed alike. I hope this time round, especially because we're hosting, that we get to intimidate and feel proud. I'm sorry if that sounded cheesy
  2. Are you a current champion in your grade? It's worth finding out if champion stripes can get put on national kit. I can't recall seeing the world champ kit during the olympics.
  3. ARM CHAIR CRITICS.... -> why didn't you make suggestions on the facebook site? http://www.facebook.com/SouthAfricanUWCT2012 This design was driven by the riders not the CSA. It's the riders that approached CSA asking if we could have a national kit for the UWCT final. -> how much can you actually change national kit? and will anyone ever design something that isn't bashed by the next person? -> Amateur National kit needs to be different from the Elite National kit. -> who would you spend money on?...someone who is/might ride in a pro-tour team or someone who came 7th in their UWCT qualifier? -> you can see there is open sponsor space why not try get a company to sponsor the kit? There's 2 weeks left. -> yes, all the russians, italians, dutch, germans, australians, french, etc will be wearing their national kit. We are hosting the UWCT final; how odd would it be if none of us wore RSA national kit?
  4. This is the finish for the Elites race at WCE on Sunday. The motorcycle was following the break that finished 5 seconds ahead of the bunch and then hit the breaks before the line. This was SUPER close. The link has too many pictures to post so open the link: http://www.shoutout.co.za/rsaweb/2010/10/25/think-bike-think/ Pictures compliments of:
