Cox said it was a matter of miscommunication between him and the team. How can the manager burst on the public domain so prematurely? and even saying Cox is being childish. carrier wise, this is not going to be good for Cox's name. If it was a matter of miscommunication, Corti should apologize on the team website to clear Ryan's name.
Desprinter- atleast those three finished in the top ten in one of the toughest categories and from what I saw, they finished ahead of the chasing bunch. Wonder how you did.

Good point Mallo, but theres nothing you can do about other people's stubbornness. ZippIt, thanks for clarifying to these moron's what the champs are about. it would have been good if they went to the UCI website and read about the champs before they made comments while clueless.

I have a pretty good idea what is going on in the sport...
Furthermore I have competed against every single one of the riders selected for the mens teams...
As far as I'm concerned there is no room for development in a national team... whether it be world B's or not... It is a privelage to represent your country and it should be reserved for your best riders... otherwise it becomes meaningless for those who get selected... no rider selected to ride for a team wants people questioning his abilities and the motives for his selection...
Development should happen at the club and provincial level... give the riders opportunities to prove themselves and develop locally... then you will have the best team and it will be representitive... instead of just window dressing... this selection is a joke... and everyones thinking it' date=' but to scared to say it... Its really sad for guys who are left out cause they aren't classed as development...[/quote']
Unfortunately I only read about these guys "mens team" so I cant say much on that department. `I don't wanna talk deeply about development because its a whole new discussion on its own, to keep it simple, lets remember that they weren't given the chance in the olden days, so unlike us, they are still playing catch-up. Without being funny, I think we should give them the international level experience, not club and provincial level only. If we do so, it will be clear if they are capable of bigger things or not.
I've been visiting this site on monthly basis to see whats being said about interesting topics. I must say, some of the guys don't have a clue about whats going on with SA
cycling. Instead of shoving the word politics where ever you fill appropriate, how about trying Development? Yep, these are world B champs for crying out loud, this young young team is sent there for the experience and hopefully come back with something. They are not competing at the world's or with our under23 team in Belgium, so shame on you. with
that kind of thinking brain, our sport will take a long time to grow big and strong and guys like Maluleki and Khaka have some impressive results under their names, including Minnar. So instead of yip yaping, Think.
