What size shoe are you looking for, I have two pairs of size 43 MTB shoes that dont fit nicely. Shimano spd for R500 (Brand new) and Addidas (not the best condition) for R300.
Second hand is the way to go, if you find you really enjoy mountain biking you can always upgrade at a later stage!!! Nothing worse than spending a whole wack on a new bike only for it to be an ornament in your garage!!
