Those same tyres on my hardtail has done tokai a number of times, granted in the dry. Serfas Drifters not one puncture, at least 800km on road, gravel & tokai. Stopped the mountains therfore the rigid fork & kept the tyres that work for me.But I use the bike mainly for road, gravel & commuting.

Where can I get semi-slick (slick tyre with nobblies on the sides) 29'er tyres. I used to have these tyres on my old 26 but I can't seem to find them anywhere for a 29 inch. I ride mainly on the road with a little bit of trail riding so those tyres are perfect for what I need. The best that the LBS tell me would be the Kenda small block eights but I'm not so sure. Please help. I'm based in Cape Town.
