  2. I think the pro wannebees on roadies are the worst...............nope I never had the opportunity to do the Rhodes run I'm afraid. Good luck and I hope that you have a great run mate.
  3. Thanks mate but definately not justified. the guys at the back are the real heroes. feel for you when it comes to the injuries. both my arches collapsed and I went from decent athlete to sulky couch potato. I will be doing my second MTB this weekend and was forced by Dirty Twin to enter for the 85km so I am really nervous.

hehehehe, why the question mark? obvious answer dude...........I was married to Satans youngest sister for 23 years.........so that means if there is a Satan then there has to be a God.
  6. It was hard work, took 8 years to go from 9:53 to 7:22, then the body decided after about 50 ultras that it couldnt anymore.......went from 53kg to 90kg in late 2006. Cycling has been great for the gravitational overload control.

Because that would have been pointless..........obvioisly Shimano, Titanium for the SR71, there is only one Jehovah, and well I dont recall DG winning a stage at the Tour. I thought a dual suspension was a softail! I would be pushing my marriage if I went beyond 8/10K.
  8. Ok! Busted, did 6 Comrades one silver, been cycling for 18 months and I call myself a retired runner who cycles.......they are generally a good bunch....just like MTBers. did my first MTB a month ago and managed to stay on the bike for 30km.............I doubt whetehr the Knysna 85km will be the same though.

I want to try a bit of dirt sometime.......thinking of buying a Raligh, not sure if I should go for a hardtail or be a sissy girl and get a soft tail.
  10. Have to agree with you.....runners are so damn arrogant, but I always wave and say hi........my motto, "Wave to the poor".
