  1. No question, for me nothing more gorgeous than the Ibis Mojo SL, although my Orbea Oiz carbon 26er comes really close.

    Argus 2014

Eeeeeeeeeerm! I forgot all about the August until today. Demmit! So if you want to be nice and sell me your entry please contact me urgently before March 2014.
  3. My guess is that they are roughly 300mm deep, 600mm by 400mm. The last water crossing is usually near condomo, but we have also had to cross water at the start of Neverender in 2011. Personally I have never bothered doing a clothing change and that includes socks, but I might just consider doing a sock change if you see the weather is getting really cold.
  4. Not all of his advice is good.......he wears long white socks when he rides his mountain bike.
  5. Hi Folks, if anyone is looking for a late spot on a Trans team please give me PM me. I think they are targeting around 16h 30m.
  6. I ride it most weekends.....that is really amazing. Real class. I see that they didnt get to enjoy the full 50km route that we ride though.
  7. That would explain the looks on our faces Nance.
  8. Colin and myself looking happy at the prospect of riding 230km.
  9. Yes this is a true story. I woke up with serious flu, to find that Colin had chained my bike to a pole, and said it would be safe there as there was no way he was letting me ride. I just said "ok"...and went back to bed.
  10. Hi fellow mountain bikers, on behalf of our family and myself, my sincere thanks for the wonderful words posted here. I cannot begin to express how great a loss this has been for Lolo and Jaryd and for myself. The memories I have from when we were kids to our teens when he would be my co-pilot, to varsity days to later when we would spend every moment possible on our bikes exploring and just living the dream. Our other vice was coffee, and we saw each other at least every third day for lunch and coffee. I consider myself to be blessed in that their was nothing left unsaid and that as brothers we truly loved each other, as he loved his family. If you see me out there in the dirt please say hi and feel free to invite me for coffee. Once again our thanks for the support. RIP Colin
  11. I am keen to try this one. Anyone done it before? Would appreciate some feedback.
  12. And you can ask Azonic if I can do it anyone can, although I don't eat as much chocolate as he does.
  13. Ouch! I hope nothing happens to mine...better post something and check it out!
  14. I recieved ten of them this week...it wasnt the eight from my girlfriend that I was upset about...it was the two from my Mom that really hurt.
  15. There is a thread for stolen bikes, post the pics there.
  16. I can't wait for the follow up thread...."Bookkeeper fired for not invoicing client and causing me to be sued for...(fill in ten items or more here)"
  17. Thanks Tarmac. Was at CWC on Saturday and seems the frame can be replaced under warrenty. For the rest (including my gear)' date=' we'll see what the insurance says. [/quote'] Frame replaced under warrenty, after a crash??? Perhaps they won't view this as a crash but rather as something damaged due to the attack...and of course he may have insured it for crash damage. I have insured mine in the event I may eventually fall one day.
  18. Hey! I'm no sissy... Spud IS....... That's different...when I said I was a Nancy Boy, I meant as a groupie.
  19. Dirty Twin and I do all our riding at night except for weekends, and yes good lights are a must. You can check out the lights we use on www.brighter-lights.com. What we use on our helmets is a small rechargeable light, fits into a cigarette lighter and is about the same size as an AA battery. Bought the rechargeables from Due South but I am sure you could get something similar elsewhere. Spud2010-05-27 06:58:48
  20. Now that I like, I do that too, and what gets up my nose is when I hear someone refer to his beloved long suffering spouse as.....THE WIFE! The pavement, the fire Hydrant the dog.....but demmit THE WIFE! Where did this come from.....ok gonna go and have my bacon eggs toast coffee.
  21. If you give me R200 I won't post till tomorrow.
  22. Should be ok for a shortish ride tomorrow night if you feel you can suffer with a really old bullet.
  23. The way I understand it now is that if this was a Positive thread then everyone would be all depressed and negative.
