Please could someone give me some advice on a mountain bike. I'm looking for something for recreation, nothing serious. I have about R4000 and am looking for something decent. Someone mentioned that I should try and get a GT Avalanche 1.0 second hand. Is that a good buy? Any advice would really be appreciated as I know absolutely zip about bikes.
