  1. Thanks @Squier. I'll have a look!
  2. Hallo everyone. A bit of a strange request. I am a South African who has lived in the UK for the last 2 and a half years. We are returning for good in mid September. When leaving SA I left my MTB with my parents in the Northern Cape. I started road cycling in the UK. I'm arriving back on the morning of 12 September in Jhb. I would love to do the mtn crater cruise in Parys on the Saturday but I'm temporarily without a bike considering my bike is stuck in the Northern Cape. I know this is a serious shot in the dark but does anyone have a bike that I can borrow? Perhaps someone who is doing the ride as well? I'm even willing to pay a few rands or buy you a couple of beers. I'm an experienced rider so bar a serious mishap your bike will be in safe hands. Alternatively, can anyone recommend some other way of getting a ride for that day? I tried searching demo bikes but without much luck. Any help or advice will be much appreciated. Cheers all

  4. Hi I was involved in a car accident with my Giant XTC 2 on the bike rack on the back of the car. The bike took a knock on the back wheel and the frame has been slightly bent at the indicated point in the attachment. I took it in to a bike shop today and the technician told me that they can't bend these frames. They were able to bend the old steel frames but can't bend an aliminium frame. The bend is not that big, I didn't even notice it when looking at the frame myself after the crash so I'm not sure if the shop is just hoping to sell a new frame to me. I only recently started mountain biking and I'm so bleak about this and I love the bike and frame. So is it possible to bend the frame back? Any advice or guidance as to the effect of this on the strength of the frame and how it will affect my riding will be greatly appreciated. Obviously this would be my first option before buying a new frame. I don't consider myself a too hard core rider and I don't suspect the frame taking heavy knoks in the future, obviously it's possible but I don't punish a bike like some riders. Please guys, any guidance will be much appreciated. F
  5. Hi I was involved in a car accident this past weekend. The back wheel of my mountain bike was wrecked. I had a Cervino (A-class) wheelset on the bike. As the front wheel of the bike is fine, I want to know if it's possible to only buy a back wheel or if you have to buy wheels in a set. Secondly, does anyone know of dealers that sell Cervino wheels in the Western Cape? I'm fairly new to the sport. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Adios F
