  1. Firstly loosen the cable at the rear completely and spin the cranks. If it does go into the smalles gear you know it is your cable. If not it can only be your limit screws or your hanger.
  2. Just found out it is not CSA sanctioned unfortunately.
  3. Anyone know if there is a secure bike park at the expo. Can I ride there with my bike or rather not.
  4. Yes she is injured at the moment. She has a AC Joint separation & proximal humeral fracture.
  5. Mmm see that... route would be interesting then. Although I would have loved that route.
  6. Think the route will be Clarens - Fouriesburg - Bethlehem - Kestel - Phuthaditjhaba - Golden Gate - Clarens
  7. I am going to have one more say on this topic. This is not about being happy or unhappy with team selection; I wish them best of luck. It is however about fair and unfair. About having systems and criteria in place which is made known to the riders well in advance. It is about transparency in the selection process which will hopefully restore the faith of younger riders in our sport. It is about a governing body protecting themselves but not their own. I am stepping down from this topic now.
  8. The process forward. What process is that you are referring to? How can facts be one sided? You have your opinions and I have mine.
  9. Not looking after your future riders and living in the "now" is a very bad thing and that is exactly why CSA women's cycling is where it is. I would hardly call someone like Heidi inexperienced. She has more than enough experience.
  10. Please do yourself a favour and read Stuart's reply to that and maybe it will make sence as to why everyone is upset about this.
  11. Yes ok two of them. dont even going to go into that one.... So we have two future stars that needs to represent SA in the future.
  12. On the age thing I was refering to up and comming riders for the future. CSA wants to bring riders promote womens cycling yet where are the future stars of our sport? Yes they are indeed and with that they are loosing points and a bucket load of it because Ashleigh won it last time round. So they need to make up for that. Now we are standing the chance of losing a spot for olimpics and that might be just the case. No the ladies dont know the selection criteria and that is where CSA goes wrong. They were never informed as to what the selection criteria was.
  13. I know that Ashleigh was not available for selection. I also know that SA's was not the selection criteria for this. And I also know why CSA has waited till this am to release the team (they are flying tonight). This is exactly why in the top 10 at SA's there is only 1 girl under the age of 28. Where is the young girls in road cycling? All of them is going to MTB because of this type of politics in road cycling. What about Heidi Dalton, Carla Oberholzer, Charlene du Preez
  14. So according to you they based it on one days results? Based on SA's result Ashleigh should not be even going to Europe again. But then again selection should not be based on one event only should it? What about 94.7, The Fast One, Berge en Dale. What about the ladies CSA spend thousands of rands on to go race in Europe and get the exposure and the actual skills. So they just toss away the time and money spend there.
  15. What an absolute joke! Can CSA please tell us what the selection criteria was for this. What about our girls that really get the results in the races.
