  1. QTNA but what WvA was alluding to was the frequency of these "bad habits" Stage 1 - 2022 UAE Tour (cue to 3m45) https://youtu.be/pcK933d-ICs Stage 3 - 2023 TDF https://www.youtube.com/shorts/NJYVtC9YiAA?feature=share Stage 7 - 2023 TDF https://www.youtube.com/shorts/SdStdgBB77A?feature=share Stage 11 - 2023 TDF (less of an issue here) https://www.youtube.com/shorts/G0tinAGYtqE Stage 18 - 2023 TDF (cue to 10-25th sec) https://youtu.be/J5GtRhKg0u0
  2. Relax, offcourse he is not on TJV's payroll . For sure, he took away the last of the bonus seconds by coming in third but had he done his fair bit of pulling and emptied himself, the damage at the top of Galibier would have likely been more than 7s (and Roglic and Remco). Jonas was never going to catch him down that descend so an additional 5-10s in addition to the 7s at the top would have given Pogi a bigger gap in the end
  3. Ah, if only GC Kuss or Kruiswijk were around for that 2nd and 3rd week Ayuso must be on TJV's payroll. What a chop for not doing a proper shaft and holding back yesterday.
  4. Some crazy descending by Pogi
  5. Definitely needs to stay away from the champagne
  6. 100%. Not only is Wout not in the best form to compete against the Alpecin boys but he has his work cut out with GC Kuss not available for Jonas. Hoping Bini atleast can win one of those stages. Unrelated to the sprinters, I'm interested to see the TJV's tactics for stage 9 (gravel) after what we saw in 2022. Musical chairs/bikes
  7. Mørkøv's role cannot be emphasised enough although same goes for MvdP's role as Jasper tries to retain the maillot vert
  8. Hahaha hard to believe but with so much public outcry, they probably relented
  9. Looks like they'll be holding formation
  10. Sepp: "keep fighting, keep believing"🤣
  11. Landa was today's MVP
  12. On his bday nogal 🤣
  13. All diplomatic talk but deep down he wants this however selfless he is. The Belgian fans weren't overly impressed with Jonas after it was "perceived" that he didn't pull hard enough for WvA during one of the early sprint stages at this year's TdF. I hope this won't come back to bite Jumbo in the end I think it was the Saxo Bank classic where WvA let Laporte take the victory and Laporte has been a trooper since he joined TJV. Not forgetting that a significant part of Jumbo's recent success has been the chemistry within the team. Stats can't measure it but I wouldn't want to rock the boat of the team dynamics in TJV. Minimal risk at this point for Jumbo to lose now. Just bring it home for SK
  14. Totes agree. Would be gutted for GC Kuss if Jonas or if Niermann doesn't make the call to sacrifice for SK. If anything JV should also consider the long-term impact this may have on the team dynamics. A Vuelta would mean quite a lot for Kuss especially since Chris "Welcome to the Butterfly Effect" Horner was the last American to take the red jersey. Of course, there aren't any gifts in cycling but cummon on, this is the man who helped both team leaders secure the 2 grand tours already this year let alone in previous years as well. Not just anybody. He will forever be indebted to you
  15. that will take the shine off the victory. I can't imagine Roglic is thoroughly chuffed at wrapping this up without Remco in the mix
  16. Martinez has the same look of determination when he towed Bernal at last years Giro
  17. Not sure if I heard this properly, but they are speculating that Pog might not attack at Hautecam (against DS's preference) We'll know in 16km'stime
  18. That was ultra close. Now it's Pogacar
  19. Top class form. Been JV's strategy of late to leave a man (or 2) upfront for Jonas And another attack shut down immediately
  20. lol, Kenyan-Saffan-Brit. Mouthful
  21. Unlucky for Louis:(
  22. I hope Kuss doesn't exhaust himself
  23. Powless & Froome starting to suffer I think Pidcock will also drop off So things looking good for Louis
