Hi Hubbers Last year I was signed on to do the Berg and Bush and pulled out cause of injury but want to do another stage race this year. So looking at doing either one of these two - Whale 2 Whales or Berg and Bush. Any thoughts or the races and which one to do? Im based in CPT but can always fly up to Natal again. Thanks

I'm wanting to cycle from Claremont area to Somerset West then onto Kleinmont via the Gordens bay road. But i cant seem to find a route to get to Somerset West except for the N2. I see there is a road from Muizenburg - Baden Powell that can take you onto Old man road and then onto the R44. But is it safe? A lot of people are saying Baden Powell is not the safest road. Any suggestions for a route will be welcome. Thanks

Hi Guys Cheers for the advice. It is noted in a big way! Not such a fan of supplements either so will go the healthy eating way! As for the training - Im learning recovery is just as important as training! Cheers.

Hi, Im going to be honest and say I am not that clued up on supplements etc. I also believe that eating properly is the right way to go. But i have noticed that since our half ironman training programme has stepped up i am struggling to recover the used muscle group before we train again. I have been told to try glutamine. the other one is Whey Protein. Are they correct or is there anything else to take or not to take. Any advice is welcome.

I'm looking at getting hold of some Skins garments in South Africa (CPT)and it seems that the only way to do this is order off the net. Has anyone used Skins and whats your feedback on them. And even better if some one in know if they in SA let me know please. Thanks
