  3. On the Giro d' Italia website it says supersport is the SA broadcaster. However looking at the TV guide there is nothing planned for the Giro on Supersport channels. Is there any info out there on whether Supersport will show the Giro 2024?
  4. Is there a way to watch the tour without commentary?
  5. Checked today - the "litter zone" area and surrounds are clean again. No wrappers or trash seen. Thank you.
  6. Noticed that during the Montecasino classic race a "Litter Zone" sign had been put up on Sterkfontein Caves Road about 200m from the corner to the R563. Direction was going towards the R540. Appears that the "Litter zone" sign was put up by race organisers for the Montecasino Classic. Today riding past the area it is full of trash - litter from the race - 100s of gel wrappers and random junk from the riders. The "Litter zone" sign was gone... Was this litter zone created by race organisers? who was responsible for it? Why create a litter zone - when the zone will not be cleaned up afterwards? Support for the race has to be questioned now - as the environment was left in a worse off state due to this race. Poor show.
  7. Amateur holds the wheel and Remco whines - ruining the video. Reminder to pro and cyclists who think they are good - you do not own the road. Everyone is free to do as they please on the road as long as it does not endanger other road users.
  8. The purpose was to make people aware (beware) of 2 practices: Plugs in tyres seen as permanent by Bikemarket The not sharing (hiding) information that a tyre has a plug when buying online with Bikemarket Those are the facts. It is important that the public know about these facts so they can make more informed decisions. The opinions are: thinking that a plug is permanent or not and whether a refurbished bike should be sold with plugs in. Whether lack of use or flat tyre issues are my fault. Berating and slandering me for saying it is "well known in the community". How to fix the tyre. Thanks to everyone who has replied - bikehub is quite hectik. I am on my own now and will sort out this tyre.
  9. The valve leak looks to have started after the plug issue - after pressure dropped.
  10. 1. Not being informed about the plug in the tyre 2. The tyre flat after the 3rd ride Yes certainly my fault.
  11. You seem very interested in this one - perhaps a BM employee or associate? The court that ultimately decides are the consumers - who choose whether to buy from Bikemarket or not.
  12. A word of warning to all bikehubbers thinking of buying a bike from bikemarket.co.za - especially if you are buying online. I bought a Merida Ninety-six 800 bike from them late July 2022 online. Everything looked good from the pics and description. The salesperson Gavin mentioned that he had checked it and the bike was all good. They delivered the bike to me and I took it for a ride and was satisfied. After my 3rd ride I noticed the front tyre not holding air. I inspected it and noticed there was a plug in the tread (attached). It is well known in the community that MTB tubeless plugs are a temporary, get you home fix and this kind of repair shouldn’t be seen as a permanent fix. I emailed bikemarket: The response from Gavin of bikemarket: I gave them until the end of this month to take corrective action - which they have failed to do thus far. That is why I am letting everyone know of this poor business practice of bikemarket.co.za. A new Maxxis Ardent tyre costs just R800 from Cyclelab and they could have fixed the issue but they have shown their stubbornness. To lose a customer for life and potentially many from bikehub over R800 when they are clearly in the wrong is just disappointing. Shows that companies that look good from the shop can treat online buyers very badly and take advantage of them. I would say avoid bikemarket especially if buying online. Rather buy from a reptutable seller here on bikehub or buy new.
