I know, Was a really dumb move, the Trek is good though, apparently used to reatil for R7000 without extras so it wasn't a totally bad buy, just a completley wrong one.... Thanks fandacious, Just need to sell my bike that i bought last week. I thought it was a mountain bike but turned out to be a hybrid. It is a Trek 7300fx. Can now kick myself.

Once a week? Just wait till you get hooked!! More like every day... You are probably right. Is R4500 a good price for a 4 month old used one? Still in very good nick!!!

Hi There, I am buying my first Mountain Bike, I am looking at a Merida Matts Sub 60-d. Just wanted to know if this is a good starter Bike, planning to go cycling with a few friends at the Tokai Bike Trail. Probably once a week to start with and then progressing to cycling a bit more often once I get my fitness levels up a bit. Any help, suggestions, recommendations would be appreciated.
