  1. Was a great race btw, not sure its worth traveling from CT, but i go down from JHB every year. Very fast, with very few hills. Makes for a nice change!
  2. What was the winning time?

    Raleigh Bikes

Axis is the old Raleigh, but Raleigh still exists. Someone else bought the rights to the name
  4. Hi My GPS failed during day 2 so I only recorded the first 15km. I like to keep all the profiles. If someone out there has it in some sort off Garmin acceptable format, pls IM me. Thanks
  5. no luck, I'm afraid. No one seems to sell these
  6. I actually have a guy looking at it right now. He recons he can make it, we'll see what he comes up with. Only thing i'm not sure abt is if it will still function. i.e. its designed to break, instead of the frame and derailleur. Its made from a "purpose designed" alloy, etc. Will this have any effect on it if its made from something else and kinda looks the same as the original?
  7. I saw that thanks. Its not the one I need though. Mine looks like the pic attached.
  8. Hi All On a flight from JHB to CPT on Friday the good people at Mango thought it good to pack my bike under a pile of lead, books and other heavy stuff and broke my rear derailleur hanger. Not a problem I though. I'll just go get a new one.... This proved to be harder than I though as I have a Viper's Concept Carbon Pro. I bought it second hand and did not realize the parts are not available locally (my bad, I know and I'll take the abuse for it). I,ve managed to find it online at a shop in Italy that charges 40 euro's shipping. That's quite a bit and I'd prefer to avoid that. It works out to almost R700 for a drop out !!! Does anyone know where I can find this part somewhere else or know someone that has a spare or something, ANYTHING. I have Sani2C coming up in 3 weeks and well, I'm pretty screwed without it. Anyone, any thoughts, please help !!!

    Rx Sport

As promised - Feedback I received my new "Shades" about a week go. There was a delay on Oakley's side with some of the exotic parts I picked, RX Sport offered to upgrade my shipping to DHL free of charge for this even though it was not their fault. All-in-all, excellent service, fantastic classes and a very happy customer. I will recommend them any day of the week and twice on Sundays for their price and service. If you're looking for eye wear, look no further.

OK then, I'm doing it. Will report back as soon as I've confirmed that they stole my money

    Rx Sport

I found this on their website. Not sure what rules Oakley have. "We now deliver to Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Israel New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, UAE and the United States."

    Rx Sport

Hi All I was wondering if any used RxSport before. They do custom oakley's exactly like Oakley in the US, except they ship to SA and it's at 20% less than direct from Oakley. I found some reviews on the web, but not enough to satisfy the skeptic in me. Anyone, any thoughts ??? Thanks, in advance
  14. I had some crack brother cleats (by mistake) at one stage even though my pedals were Shimano. They are similar but don't have the wings in the top corners. I only realized when they started wearing slightly and I couldn't get them to stay clipped in anymore no matter how tight I made the pedal. Maybe this could work to your advantage. If not, you've only spend R100 testing it
  15. WTF, what was the point of that?
