I'm doing the Argus with my son on a tandem this year. He is 10 years old and doesn't have a seeding. My PPA seeding is A. Does anyone know how they will seed us? Hope we don't start right at the back.

Hi Guys The purpose of my post was to warn other Hubbers and not to start a discussion of who is right and who is wrong. He sold a complete bike on the Hub and my friend asked me to go look at the bike as it's in my area. It was a very nice bike and my friend bought it. Peter seemed like a very nice guy and told me he is a rep that supplies bicycle parts to shops. He told me he can get me a frame as a favor from a friend or some crap. I told him that I don't want a replica or fake frame and he told me it's the real thing. He told me it will come with a certificate and serial number. At the end of the day it was all lies. It's a Chinese fake. I was stupid to buy it and I made a mistake. I will not use the frame and I will write off the money that I lost.

Just want to warn you to not deal with this guy. He sells fake branded frames. He is located in Stellenbosch and his Hubber name is Peets. I was stupid enough to fall for his lies.

PPA should display the online entry cutoff on the event details page, then people won't miss it.

Jip, that's an option as well, but takes quite a bit longer. At least 30 to 40 minutes extra, but it's nice to do.

Good yellow line shoulder all the way to Stellenbosch. Only 25km from my house to Techno Park. I'm not sure how traffic will be into town, but it should be against most of the traffic. Let me know if you want to give it a try.

I leave at about 5:50 in the morning and around 16:15 in the afternoon. Average speed is about 28-30 km/h. If anyone is keen to join me, let me know.
