  1. Thanks again, still a tough decision.
  2. Ignoring my post count, I get the impression that the HT is possibly not an option. Surely it also depends on the type of terrain?
  3. I currently own a full susp. bike. I'm looking to changed to a hardtail, is this advisable and what are the major differences. Im just short of 6ft 1 and weigh 88kg's. If this topic has been discussed at lenght please advice me on the thread.
  4. Everyone on the sight suffered with a MLOT with regards to cleats and clipless pedals persevere.
  5. Great, the campy groupo is chourus (wheelset being sold to me) and I will replace that with my 105 cluster etc... If it is too much of a mission then I would rather not.
  6. What is the process when changing from a campy wheel to a shimano? (hub, cluster etc...)
  7. Cool, thanks everyone that responded.
  8. I'm 6FT 1. Would a 56 Colnago frame be far to small for me?
  9. Cheers thanks for all the advice guys, but I think I'm gonna go the trailer route. Now I just have to find a trailer at a good price.
  10. I am keen on the trailer idea, but not willing to spend in excess of R10 000 on a trailer + racks. Had two forum members reply to my post in the classified and have not heard from them again! I do not currently own a trailer, I normally hire and no one has a trailer with bike racks. Thanks for the advice though. Alex0072007-11-26 02:55:33
  11. I hope this is the right forum. I own a Landrover. I also, for my sins have 4 kids. The wife and I recently started mtb riding. We are encouraging the kids to ride but what are the solutions to travelling with 6 bikes? The youngests bike I am not too concerened. My major issue is that which carrier will siute my vehicle and still allow for a trailer. Needs to carry a minimum of 4 bikes? Help?
