  1. The thing is the motorist was correct and the cyclists was at fault. Why should the motorist slow down to 30km/h in a 80 zone to pass cyclists thats cycling abreast chatting to each other and then the motorists should pass them on a solid line to continue his journey and then during that act the motorist breaks the law for passing on a solid line. Please think logic
  2. Naaa, I don't believe in foreplay
  3. Well If I get a big yellow van with MTN branding following me around for support when I buy a MTN top I'm getting out now and buy one. It was MTN sponsored cyclists they had their MTN support vehicle on the route. I'm not complaining just stating a fact that cyclist should realise that we share the road with other road users and not own the road. Even if you are a hot shot sponsored cyclist.
  4. I’ve been cycling for years and now a mountain biker converted roadie. This weekend I was traveling along the Golden Gate route and was utterly discussed in the behavior of the cyclist using the route. And not to mention that it was professional cyclists that were behaving is such self-centered manner. Being sponsored by MTN and wearing a yellow jersey doesn’t give you the right to own the road. The cyclist was cycling abreast with not even thinking of moving out of the way of motor vehicles, and was really testing the motorist using the road patients. The roadies always complain about motorist wanting to drive them out the way but they are self responsible for this behavior. This was just another example why there are so many cycling accidents on the roads. The bit of sympathy I had for a cyclist being knocked over by a motorist has diluted even further after seeing this behavior.
