  1. Why not? Tour de France top pros get banned too or not?
  2. Looks like cycling just died if people like you think that everybody on two wheels (without an engine) not racing againist oncoming trafiic are just Fkin funriders. I will use up my few Pre-Entry tickets and shall never pay money for fun-riding again. Maybe it has a tiny impact on your price money somehow. Just hope you guys don't manage to kill the last fun to be had THE ARGUS too.
  3. Thanks for the http://www.thinkbike.co.za. I had a brief look and it seems they only focus on motorbikes.
  4. Big H...hm, I guess that is for Big Head Does not seem anything else to do then sending posts all day. Some people actually do work and do not insult people for no reason.
  6. Linnega, very good points, but your summary hits the nail on the head. My safety first and that includes wearing a safety belt in a car and excludes skipping red lights unsafely. Besides, has anybody ever been challenged after breaking the discussed rules (red flashing lights, riding on the shoulder, overtaking stationary vehicle etc)? BTW, how does one ever get passed stationary, parked cars then- just wondering?
  7. Klar ueberall, da die meisten Englisch sprechen. A South African complained once as he wanted to learn German in Germany and the Germans talked back English as they wanted to improve their own skills. Shall we start a German thread, so the Afrikaans people start writing English again?
  8. And here is my solution: To protect my cell from pretty aggressive (chemically) sweat and rain and now even food (normally me cell is in a different pocket than food) I put the cell in a small clear zip bag.
  9. Uhmmm?? England?? No, the English speaking part of Germany of course.
  10. They don't need to while executing their duties (that's according to them. After the question I was put through all types off hell!!!) May they don't need to, maybe they need to. It just makes them die sooner by their own choice as they are the ones which usually have these handy blue lights and drive like hell - so high risk.
  11. friendly uitk@k sessie Hm, would love to hear it. Maybe we can extend this thread to littering while on the bike. So stupid and unnecessary too. Never seen a maid cycling after the person who litters. Rent-Smart2007-10-29 06:17:03
  12. I don't know any, same as I cannot see many seat belts used, which also claims a lot of lives due to negligence. Hell not even the traffic cops are using them. I never understand what the problem is to use the belt. They all scream TOO MANY ROAD DEATHS, but nobody looks why. I think you all got my drift that skipping red lights on purpose in full view of other motorists is no good- the rest is debatable.
