Hi, I currently have a 29er with a 100mm stem. With the larger wheels the switchbacks and technical stuff is a little more difficult than on a 26er. Would a shorter stem, say 90mm, make a difference in the handling with the more responsive steering ? or is it a bit more complicated than this ? Appreciate some input.

HI, Besides the weight & pimp factor whats the big hype and difference between Carbon Riser bars and standard Aluminum ones ? Is there an actual performance difference ? Help a newbie out here.
