Thanks for the advice. It's just a normal tub type tyre with an inner tube. It did puncture as a result of the slash. I'll clean it out, glue it with superglue and stick a patch on the inside.

I got this nice little slash in my tyre going up Edinburgh drive in the CTCT. These are brand new Pirelli Pzero Race tyres that had done 30km before the CTCT. Question is, do I leave the tyre as is or can I take it into my local cycle shop to get it fixed?xed?
