  1. dankie man Fanie! jy happy met jou TCR A?
  2. So I have just bought my TCR advanced frame and then read the topic on the unforutnate guy with the Cervelo vs Car. There are some comments on insurance paying, replacing or fixing bikes or nooooottt I would like to insure this frame as I really can't replace it if it goes for any other reason that the warranty covered issues, such as crashes and the like. Anyone with some advice on insurance options? good and bad experiences? and darn-it but the cricketers choked AGAIN!
  3. Some advice needed - I would like to either upgrade my roadbike to a full carbon bike (new trek madone or cervelo soloist) or thinking of buying a used time trail bike. the only time I ever use a TT bike is for Ironman and 70.3. Anybody out there using their Soloist etc and converting the bars to full TT with bullhorn shifters and back again for road use? what are your thoughts and experiences?
  4. Hey RobMobius (I am sure I remember this nickname from the Kiteboarding forums?) If so then you are in for a whole new way of spending too much money on something new and upgrading. What really dropped some weight of my bike was going for a tubeless conversion with lighter tires. Quality tires also makes the ride feel so much better, and if I am not mistaken the Merida comes with Rancheros. Man I hated those tires... Dukeblue2007-09-07 02:29:36
  5. Shamus, Speaking of Ralphs - I replaced a rear tire in a hurry and see that it is the "wrong" way around i.e. it now rolls like the front tire would. I don't want to change it (Stans mess etc) if it doesn't make a real difference, but it does feel like it is less grippy up steep climbs and rocky sections. It could also be that I am running it with more PSI than usual after installing the new tire. Should I change it around?
