  1. Interested to know what you decide, how the Fox works and if you manage to find a way to link it to the Twinlock. My DT Swiss off my Scott Spark RC is in for repair again - been without a bike for 1.5 weeks. This is my second shock, having replaced the first one under warranty. Now having to pay for a service this time. Useless. Think i need to look for another option!

  4. This rule has always been a rule. However it is not policed at all during the event and 90% of the riders use a Garmin and download the files afterwards. In fact there was a Garmin charging station last year. As for Strava, every bit of last year's race is on Strava, including times from most of the pros. Key point is people should not be using that data to ride on the "trails" after the event, it is after all private property.
  5. Anyone tried the KTM Solus before? Nice specs and similar frame to the P3
  6. Looking at a Medium
  7. So I am looking to buy a tri-bike for half IM and IMSA. With a budget of R20k I have a few options, 2 options being either a 3 year old Cervelo P3 with top of the range specs OR a new Canondale slice 5 with 105 components. Both would need a wheel upgrade at some stage. Any thoughts on which to go with?
  8. 2 of us managed a 3.38 on Full susp with knobblies from V group. Legs worked hard all day trying to find a bunch to hang on to !
  9. Following on from another thread, are others looking to use their Garmin during the EPIC and if so are you able to turn tracks off without losing ability to see speed and distance? what other options do we have - without going out and supporting Polar! I understand the organisers not wanting us visting private farms but are they really going to check everyone's device to see who is tracking? Thanks
  10. Yes this is going to be an issue for quite a few of us. Not sure how they will check who has GPS turned on and who has it off. Looks like we may need to buy a few extra parts to get round this....still good to have the heart rate monitor working.
  11. Hi I was wondering if anyone had some good ideas or products that you can use to charge your Garmin (Edge 500 or 305) while on events such as Epic where power may be an issue?
  12. Hi Looking for good price Assos Uno bibs (Large)or similar and a camelbak rogue Thanks
