I currently own a Specialized Enduro (it's great but outdated now, like doesn't have UDH). If were to replace it I'd look at the new Trek Slash, or the new Marin Alpine Trail XR (great value, speak to Jaco at Black Sheep Bikes). 170mm travel is what you're looking for in my view. But the Stumpy Evo's are great too at 160/150mm (I wouldn't go less travel than that). The more travel is so much more forgiving, particularly if you new to big road gaps, etc. Basically look for something with around 63deg head angle. Good suspension (new Zeb is amazing and easy to set up). And adjustable geometry. Hi, Contermanskloof MTB has some great Enduro/DH trails with jumps and drops. Then there's Hoogekraal Skills Park in the Durbanville area too. Jonkershoek has some nice black trails too. We rode Spice Route DH this last weekend which is steep and loose but lots of climbing so shuttle recommended. Paarl DH is another option. Tokai has some fun trails too...there's a nice jump line on DH3.

Renier you should consider overstroking your Hyrax when you get rhe coil. You can get 150mm travel on the rear.
