Hi, Tech Ques: I have an old GT Avalanche Pro 1.0 and the disk pads \ brakes are gone. Back and front. I have been told you can not get the pads for it anymore and i need to get new disk brakes for the back and the front. Is this true ? Is it worth it or should i rather look at getting a new refurbished bike? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Hi , I have a Cannondale CAAD 7 Ultegra / Dura ACE and FSA RD400 Wheels When i pedal there is a very pronounced creaking which sounds like it is coming from the crank. I have taken it in to Cross Town Cycles where they have stripped everything and when i take it on long ride again it still creaks. I did a 130k Cycle this weekend and even when i am on a flat it creaks. When i climb hills it creaks. I have taken the bike back again and they still say they can not find the fault of the creaking. I have had the stem replaced and everything has been tightened. Any help would be great. From Creaky ...

Hi All, Looking for a quick training guide to doing the Double Century. I have started doing the 30 to 45 minute spinning class to just get back into cycling but still got a long way to go before being able to do the Double Century. Going to try and do a 50 k cycle over the weekend. But i was wondering what the best training guide would be to get ready in time for a eight hour double century. Crazy idea. Thanks
