Really sorry to hear about the bike jacking. Ive been held up twice at gun point myself and I can understand the anger and sense of violation that comes with it. I think we need to stop looking to others to sort out these problems. I think your idea for starting some kind of log with rider details and serial numbers is a step in the right direction, not sure how easy it will be to get it started but I would certainly offer to help in any way.
Which ever way it goes it looks like we have a new TDF winner for 2010 - Andy Schleck. I wonder what he must be thinking. He is thinking 'Thank god I didnt have the steak!!!!'
