OP states they weren’t able to view the bike but took the risk as friends knew the seller.. then says bike arrived so I’m going as far as saying it was shipped to the buyer.. who then discovered no charger..🤙🏻

Okay yeah that makes sense.. thanks.. I stand that accessories that come standard with a product should be included in a resale unless unavailable for some reason, broken, lost etc.. and if not included should be stated clearly, and should probably influence the asking price.. lots of comparison to mobiles not coming with chargers/chargingblocks anymore, as if that makes this okay.. but that’s Apple that’s decided that and there’s not much we can do about it when it’s a trillion dollar company.. but if it was resellers removing the charging block I think it would be a different story..

I believe the consumer protection act does cover second hand goods as well.. but yeah I don’t know if it would actually be worth pursuing 🤷🏼‍♂️

Agreed.! Big time.! Complete transparency goes a long way when selling second hand goods.. it always feels like such a risk buying second hand.. and this is one reason why.. it’s a scum bag move if you ask me..(sorry to be so harsh😳)

I also just thought about that.. maybe if a group set with Di2 is added then a mandatory drop down if charger is included or not when posting the add would be possible.?

This is spot on.. it’s common practice to sell a bike without pedals on.. fine.. but how far does it go.. next thing okes are selling bikes without the brakes.. and exactly, it’s not like, suck it up, it’s only a couple hundred bucks to get one.. that’s expensive for essentially a cable with a fancy connection.. it’s ultegra Di2 road bike, I’m assuming carbon and has already cost a pretty penny.. I’d be pretty annoyed..

Technically yes🤣🤣.. however I think it’s pretty important part of the system and should be mentioned if it isn’t listed.. imagine I sold a helmet and didn’t supply the padding because you simply didn’t ask if it was included.. not okay..

I feel like SHE should have specified in the add “Di2 charger not included”.. I think most people are going to be quite annoyed if you purchase something and the standard accessories are not included with the sale..🤔
