Hey Guys, I'm heading down to Cape Town for a few weeks over Christmas (20th Dec to 4th Jan) and am packing the mtb in hope of kicking off the serious training for Epic. Having never ridden in Cape Town I was hoping some people could impart their wisdom on places to ride? Where to start from etc etc. I'm staying pretty much in Tamberskloof and am looking for rides from 40km's 100km's. If anyone has got any maps or directions on where to kick off from I would be very appreciative. I'm also hitching the road bike on as I know that Chappies and all the rest must be a dream to ride on. I assume there is quite a few bunch rides from various points? Again, any help or info hubbers could provide would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Brett

Just to throw more confusion into the mix, you can always try a conversion cassette. American Classic makes a Shimano splined, Campag spaced cassette. This means you don't have to change your freehub body and you can run the rest of your kit Campag. Not sure if they are imported into SA, but you can get them from the States from the usual places fairly cheaply. I run an 11-23 on a set of Mavic ES and have no problems.
