I have the Holdfast TopRunner bike rack installed on my trailer, which works great for ferrying around our MTB's. However, I would like to take one MTB, and our tandem on holiday with us. As you can imagine, the standard channel is long enough for a single bike, but too short for a tandem, so wondering what options are out there. The Loading Zone and RopeWorld don't sell an extension piece to the standard rack, and clearly the HoldFast factory is closed at this time of year. I could measure up the inside dimensions and try to locate a piece of channel that will fit in there, then secure it, but wondering how strong this will be, and if anyone has done something like this. Where did you get the Alpine at such a good price? I have a friend who is looking for a bike, and I have recommended the Alpine to him, but most of the prices are over 3K where he is looking. Cheers, Andrew
