Been lurking for a few months, but now need the Hub's input I'm in the market for a new carbon road bike and have been reading up as much as possible as well as speaking to a fair number of LBS' (that's another topic all on its own ) I eventually narrowed it down to either a: 1) Giant TCR composite 1 or 2) Merida Scultura Evo 905-comp Right now, I'm leaning towards the Giant, mostly because of feedback from this forum. (Also, the Giant LBS' I dealt with were much more interrested in actually helping than the Merida ones) However.... I can get a Bianchi Sempre for around the same price but here's the question: It comes with a full Campagnolo Veloce groupset as well as Campagnolo Khamsin wheels. Now I know the Shimano vs. Campagnolo is a hotly debated topic, but still need to ask the questions So, your considered input on these 3 choices, taking into account that I cannot mix and match. Frameset: Giant TCR C1 / Merida 905 vs. Bianchi Sempre Groupset: Shimano Ultegra (or even 105) Campagnolo Veloce Wheelset: DT Swiss R1900 vs. Campagnolo Khamsin Thanks! PS. Have been using XTR and SLX on my MTB's, so know Shimano, but do not know Campagnolo at all.
