  1. Thank you SeanMort. I've dropped them an email. Will update this post when I get a reply.
  2. please, does someone know where the photos that were taken during Saturday's Lionman at Mabalingwe are posted? There was a photographer at the halwfway point on the 80km loop that took a photo of my buddies and me. I would really like to get a copy of it.
  3. I started out using Energade and it's a fine drink.... .... for funriders
  4. What the hell with the prices being charged for energy drinks these days? (I don't mean Red Bull) A while ago I was fortunate enough to get a few tins of Enervit G-Sport at cost. I paid R80 for a 450 gram tin. It was a once-off deal. I really prefer Enervit's products as they work well for me and don't have any funny after tastes and disolve easily. (I used to use USN's Cyto Power - the lemon-lime flavour is not bad, but disolving is a mission) So I have to buy from retailers now. Guess what these guys are selling at? Between R190 and R208! That's dailight robbery. I'm not saying they should give it away but that's more than 100% markup. Definately not cricket
  5. I'm currenlty trying to decide what to do. I have a good offer to buy a new pair of Look Keo pedals. Replacing the bearing sounds easy enough. It's heart vs head
  6. Hi Johan The bearings are sealed units that are fitted onto the pedal axle. If it was a case of cones and balls I wouldn't have had a problem. Be sure to let us know as soon as that sudio is finished. I'd be interrested in attending and I'm pretty sure my dad will also join in. I do most of my own maintenance. Even wheel trueing if it's a slight enough wobble. Trueing stands are expensive though, so the serious stuff is sent to my LBS.
  7. I'm in need of some help. I have a set of Look 206 pedals (see picture below) I've had them for about 3 years now and I'm very happy with them. The don't look as pretty as the one above any more but they still work well enough. Recently I opened them up (for the first time ever) to clean and re-grease them. Pre Argus preperations... I then dicovered that the bearing on the right pedal is not rolling smoothly any more. So, are there agents for Look in Johannesburg that can service the pedals?

  9. The outsorcing part I know is true. But here is the error: String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Stack Trace: Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:1.1.4322.2032; ASP.NET Version:1.1.4322.2032 As I'm a web developer myself I can tell you that the gibberish above comes down to a database error on Actionphoto's side. What I can't tell is whether the error occured before payment was processed or after.supavan2008-03-19 06:40:27
  10. I'm not disputing the quality of the pics. It's a hard thing taking photgraphs of moving objects. Doing so when there is more than one? I respect the work these guys do so we have some pics to remember the big day. What I'm unhappy about is that I can't get a straight answer regarding the credit card payment issue.
  11. Has anyone else had a less than satisfactory experience with ordering photos from actionphoto.net? The first 2 times I tried to find my Argus pictures the site crashed when I clicked on the search button after entereing my race number. That seems to have been sorted out. When I eventually found my pictures and tried to order them via online credit card payment the site crashed again. I then sent the email below to Actionphoto: I also included the entire detailed error message. Here is the answer I got back: I was not pleased with the answer and sent this in reply: (yes I know I made a spelling mistake). I tried the entire process again today and still the exact same error occurs. So has anyone else had problems or is my case an isolated incident?
