The Wild Ride began in 2000 and has a twenty-five year legacy of giving participants a rare and magnificient four day eco-adventure ride along the wild coast of South Africa. The event starts at the Great Kei River and finishes at the award winning Umngazi River Bungalows, with overnights at Kob Inn, The Haven and Ocean View (Coffee Bay) to encompass the true Pondo vibe and hospitality. Proceeds from the event are channelled through the Wild Ride Education Company to build classrooms along the route with over 55 classrooms built to date. Event Name: NUVO Wild RideWhen: 19/07/2024 - 23/07/2024Where: Kei Mouth, Kei Mouth, Eastern CapeCategory: Mountain BikeThe NUVO Wild Ride (formerly the Imana Wild Ride) is a four-day eco-adventure event along the wild coast of southern Africa. It started in 2000 and is considered one of South Africa's iconic multi-day MTB adventures. Riders start in the small coastal village of Kei Mouth and stay at three hotels (Kob Inn, The Haven & Ocean View) on their way eastwards to finish at the renowned Umngazi River Bungalows. A small field of 100 teams (pairs) is split over two starting days, with the timed event starting on Friday 19th July 2024, followed by the non-timed (tour style) event. Go to Event Page.
