The road loop you suggest sounds very nice and according to strava heatmaps also a popular one. Hence also safe I hope?

On Monday I have time all day some happy to do a ride of +100k. I’m used to do marathon stage races and training for a long distance off road duathlon so what you are proposing sounds like something I am aiming for. Any gpx routes to find or will it just be a matter of following the most ridden tracks on strava?

Hello, I will be in Cape Town between Friday 24th of November for a week and looking for groups to join. Preferably MTB but also happy to join a nice road ride. I will be staying in the center a bit south from V&A waterfront. I don't have a car so should start around that area. I'm aiming for higher amateur level, marathon/XC flowy single trails. I posted another topic to get advise on where to ride safely on my own also. Direction Tokai for example. I'm especially looking for longer rides on Friday, Saturday and Monday, and maybe some shorter ones Tuesday till Thursday. Would be super happy to join some locals and 1/ see the best places and 2/ be safe Thanks a lot!

I forgot to mention I don't have a car. I heard great things about Stellenbosch but unless I could join someone to go there, I'm afraid this won't be an option for me.

Hello Cape Town MTB community, I'm Jan (Belgium living in the Netherlands) and will be staying in Cape Town (near V&A waterfront) later this week and next week. I will bring my MTB and would be happy to hear where are safe places to ride, and also safe ways to ride to the spot. I heard good things about Tokai for example, but I'm not sure what would be the best route to ride there. I normally use a combination of Strava and Komoot to plan my routes but those do not take safely into account. With the reported crimes, it would be great to get advice from locals. I'm also very much looking forward to joining groups and locals, so I will also start a topic in that specific area. Very much looking forward but also quite concerned about the crimes.
