hi. I am selling a bike on the hub, have a possible buyer who hasn't asked a single question about the bike and hasn't tried to haggle at all. He lives in zimbabwe, one of his friends will pay for the bike, and another will come from jozi to fetch it. He wants to use bike hub pay. I pressed the accept button. But it just doesn't feel right. I understand I need to rather use a courier service so there us proof of receipt. Other than that, how could this be a scam? It just doesn't feel right.

Basically hackers can embed I guess you can call it a virus into a link, and if you click on it, you open it into the device you are using and they have access to all your info.

Are there any mechanisms on this site that would alert users to this person? I guess he can just change his name and number and carry on.

A buyer on the hub who calls himself Derrick Jay tells you he is away on a business trip but really wants your bike. Hardly any questions. Then when it comes to payment says he can only pay into a paypal account. I told him i only accept payment into my bank account. But what he would do is send a link to paypal account, and if you click on that link, you've been hacked. His phone number is +27 84 382 8980.
