Motorist

hey a big thanks to the group of cyclist (they had supersport shirts and toyota pants )that i passed this morning there must have been about 30 of you and you were all in the cycle lane . now thats the way to lead by example

you are so correct here but once again i hear the guys saying SO WHATS A FEW SECONDS IN A MOTORISTS LIFE well i have said it befor on this thread and i will say it again for the guys who just dont get it . . nobody would mind if we only had to go around one bunch of cyclists but it is when we have to go around 5-10 groups of inconsiderate cyclists in a 10km trip that it gets a bit much especialy when you have to do the same trip everyday . and believe you me if i saw that many tractors on the road in one day hell i would go and get my tractor just to join in cos them i know "die Boere"are about to get involved in something important

i think THE BREAK has a really good idea it might not work but atleast there would be some sort concequence as right now we have nothing and with out actualy walking up to a cyclist and taking his picture we will never know who he is (unless i drive over him and then trust me every body will know who we are )

oh come now ZULA do we have to go through this again or is this the perfect example why we hate cyclests cos you see say and do exactely what you want with out thinking past your elbow WE HAVE ALREADY WORKED OUT I HAD A PASSENGER IN THE CAR .now maybe you will think before you act ,the bottom line is the cyclists were in the wrong every body can see this except for a few of you that instead of just admiting you were in the wrong want to argue the same old point please wake up or shut up

some one asked if i would do some thing with the info that i have been given , i will as soon as i have more pictures of them as this was not the first time that i have had a problem with this club .We seem to drive the same route every weekend but maybe one of those idiots has been reading this thread and is going to talk some sence into them . but i dout it

to all the guys who are saying were is the cycle lane and cyclists are not by law allowed to ride in the yellow lane . how stupid are you or do you just mention the laws that suit you . what is the most basic of all rules when on a bicycle hell even my 2 year old knows this one ..RIDE IN SINGLE FILE if you could get that one simple rule in your head there would be no problems

Heres a picture to stress/prove my point, there are 3 groups and none of them are in the cycle lane.

no harm done thanks deloco, i am putting these pics up to show people what we have to put up with every day and the usual response is (what is the rush just wait a little bit or just go around them)that is all fine if it was only one group but in a 10km drive from my house to the shops i have to wait or go around 5-10 groups .

i dont think mtn would do anything about these idiots but some one said they are from club 100 so if that is correct them maybe club 100 should do something about their members

have any of you ever thought a little bit further than the obvious the circle at the rhino park is the hijack hot spot of the cradle for cyclists, so maybe before you accuse the residents think what a easy target you would be sitting there at 4.30 in the morning with a flat tyre . interesting thought isnt it ,and who would you ask for help , probably a resident that you keep insulting

i was on the wrong side of the road i had to go around these idiots. would you please use your brain before you comment again. I think we would all appreciate it .thanks

Daloco, is there always only one person in the car or is there alowed to be a passenger? Or do you always engage your fingers before your brain?

This picture proves why motorists dislike cyclists on the road, this mtn sponsored group has got no consideration for anybody.
