  1. I do not know who this guy is but he was traveling up and down the cradle route this morning early in his Move Insurance Caddie. All he does is stop if he sees some glass on the route, gets out and sweeps the area clean and carries one. I also passed him while he was helping some fellow cyclist with a puncture. Apparently today was not the first time he has done this. He came past me about 4 times while I was travelling towards Rhino and Lion Park. I do not know who you are dude, but thank you very much.
  2. Did you see who finished 6th yesterday, well done : NOR 1 BOASSON HAGEN, Edvald (SKY PROCYCLING) 4:03:32 AUS 2 MATTHEWS, Michael (ORICA GREENEDGE) BEL 3 MEERSMAN, Gianni (OMEGA PHARMA - QUICK-STEP) NOR 4 HUSHOVD, Thor (BMC RACING TEAM) ITA 5 VIVIANI, Elia (CANNONDALE PRO CYCLING) RSA 6 JANSE VAN RENSBURG, Reinardt (TEAM ARGOS-SHIMANO) FRA 7 BOUHANNI, Nacer (FDJ) GER 8 VOSS, Paul (TEAM NETAPP - ENDURA) FRA 9 CHAVANEL, Sylvain (OMEGA PHARMA - QUICK-STEP)
  3. tar MAC, is that you Arnold? I had a look at a picture from last years finish line, I was there you where there and the guy from Edenvale. Two years in a row ??? Gerhard.
  4. try sales@westrandcycles.co.za
  5. Yes DAM it is possible, I just exported the route.
  6. Send me your e-mail and I can make a plan.
  7. PVR the upcomming TDF and transfer it to DVD, worked for me. Or you can do Interval taining sessions, then you won't get bored.
  8. Alec, It was an pleasure! I'm sure you would have done the same.
  9. Just did my second Cycle Tour with mine, I'm 90+ kg's and not a single problem.
  10. I tried to take a picture, but at 4h30 not much to be seen, darkness,LOL
  11. Please be careful in the Cradle route before the Rhino/Lion Park. We went through there this morning at around 4h30 and we had 2 punctures in the group due to black thumb tacks on the road. Not just one or two, we removed about 50 of them!!! The Berge & Dale Race is going past there on Saturday so is the Tour of South Africa!!! Whoever put the there should be jailed or worse.
  12. I think I lost about 500km worth of rubber on the tyres because of the sudden braking in the A bunch. The route was very fast and enjoyable and the marhalling in our group was 100%.
  13. "A" group was shocking, it's not just the C4's we caught but there where a number of guys riding with no numbers and no chips in the group, (two from Edenvale Pedlars and one with a Hills(Dog food) Shirt on. They nearly caused a crash when they pulled of to the side of the rode at one of the intersections.
  14. I use that route a lot. The speed limit has been changed from 120 down to 100 just before you get to this section, travelling towards Krugersdorp. I believe this should indicate that it is not a highway. I believe you are allowed to cycle on this area. Just be careful of the junction at the robot. The trucks come flying down there.
