  1. Good morning all, last year sometime I had someone purchase some first ascent mtb shoes https://www.sportsmanswarehouse.co.za/product/first-ascent-gravel-mountain-bike-cycling-shoes/ I am a regular size UK7, they advised him to take a size up if my normal size is UK7 so I have a UK8. I am looking to get a better pair of shoes now and I was wondering if I should get a pair true to my size. At the time I was new to riding and did'nt know much about sizing so I just took their advice. What are your thoughts? Also I need help choosing between the shimano XC502 or the shimano XC702 shoes. Thanks
  2. did a sitbone measurement at home, roughly 110mm I would say? Definitely not the seat clamp eating the bibs have checked on that aswell. Current saddle is 265 mm x 132 mm. Have been suggested the try the Selle san marco shortfit narrow 20 sport
  3. This is how the wear looks when they are on. I think you may be right, i need to do a sit bone measurement and look into another saddle!
  4. Thankfully I don't get any saddle sores/abscesses or bumps. Distance on the bibs is maybe +-2000km, not really rotating, controls are angled downwards in line with my arms, I might look a bit too upright because my bike was leaning against the wall
  5. Me neither 🤣 only 70kg nothing insane but the wear is worrying me and they are Assos bibs less than 8 months old
  6. Will do that! I think the measurement is 265mm x 132mm it's not displayed underneath but it is the Prologo Nago X12 RS STN Nylon INJ Microfiber P3. Online shows those measurements
  7. Hi all, so what I've done so far is move my saddle backwards a few mm. Also I've realized that I have been setting my saddle height with the suspension locked out so it may possibly be too high! I will rectify this and report back! I've attached some images with measurements and side views (this is pre-adjustment)
  8. Hi all, I have the titan racing cypher rs Ltd edition alloy. I am currently using the stock seat which is the Prologo Nago X12 RS STN Nylon INJ Microfiber P3r. I have adjusted my saddle height and saddle fore and aft aswell as the saddle tilt as best i can. I seem to get pain on side of my sit bones after a short distance. My cycling shorts are wearing down in an unnatural way, please see attached picture. I dont have access to a bike fit unfortunately. Based on your experience do you think my saddle is possibly too narrow? Any tips on what to do please. Thanks
  9. Would anyone know what kind of derailleur hanger this bike uses? Also possibly where I can get the hangers?
