So there is just the 15% at the time of the purchase. I am a bit hesitant on bringing it with in a normal travel bag so that’s why i’m bringing it with the box itself

Hi everyone, I’m planning to bring a brand-new bicycle with me from abroad. It will still be in its original sealed box (unused and unopened). Does anyone know if I would need to pay any import taxes, customs duties, or extra fees when bringing it through customs? If yes, how are the charges usually calculated (value, type of item, etc.)? Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this recently or knows the rules. Thanks in advance!

To clarify it is not a demo bike where people could test ride it’s more like a display model. I’m actually aboard right now and got a pretty good deal on it from the giant distributor itself i was thinking on buying it bringing it here to resell for a profit to invest in my current bike
