Cool site, firstly, new to it today. Good to see so much traffic. Despite it's many issues, Gauteng has an amazing energy that makes it very unique, not better just different. I'm in JHB South and can definitely recommend Henley-on-Klip, Alberton etc, but does depend on what you're looking for and your mode of life. Reitvlei Farm in Alberton has some really good trails as mentioned above. Kensington is good, close-ish to Alberton, but more central if you work in JHB, but you're going to pay a premium...
