  1. im on a new bike, its gonna take me a few months to get it right of that I'm sure!
  2. i'm assuming these stats: Stature : 172.2 Left leg length : 96 Right leg length : 96.4 Left Arm length : 78 Right Arm length : 77.4 Sit and Reach(S+R) : -5 Straight leg raising(SLR) : 76 Shoe size : 43 but i'm not entirely sure
  3. Ok, I just had an Ergo fit with Jeroen Swart, who prescribed a stem length of 95. after a couple of rides I knew this was wrong for my style of riding and quickly replaced the 95 with 60 (740mm bars) - what a differrence! my riding is faster, more fluid, plus I can now transfer my weight around the bike easier to compensate for the short stem when climbing and sit over the back wheel when descending or riding roots etc now I'm not criticising Jeroen as he is definitely a very smart oke, who knows what he's doing and who can defs ride a bit (check his stats on Strava!), however, I think one has to sometimes think beyond the formulas and just feel the ride. here are my Ergofit parameters: Frame Sizing : Effective top tube length : 58.5 Parameters : Seat height : 74.3 Saddle setback : 6.2 Reach A : 68.6 Reach B : 49.02 Drop : 3.1 Crank length : 175 Stem length : 95
  4. I thought about a Reign X - read that they are the dogs b0&&ocks! - I'm also getting rid of the XC and going Trail - (not telling on frame though ) but looking at revelation 15 or 20mm and a seriously stiff custom wheelset.
  5. wot you mean he's loaned you the Mojo!!!
  6. no not doing trials, I thought a quicker engagement hub helped with technical rocky terrain? - happy to look like a plonker having mismatched hubs...
  7. I'm looking for quicker engagement than my existing Hopes, yes it is price would rather save where I can and spend on something else like a reverb stealth dropper post
  8. would there be an issue with performance if I used a Chris King Hub for rear (quick engagement) and hope Evo for front (cheaper)?
  9. yeah i got a bit of agg on main road woodstock riding hme from work Sunday - okes were soo drunk though - rode away with no drama!
  10. Thanks Crow, when I eventually make a decision i'm hoping to build my PYGA up at around 12.5 (without dropper)
  11. With xo, revelation and arch X should be able to get it to weigh in at 11.5 ish or there abouts which is not bad for a full suss. Also the thing climbs and seems to put power down so efficiently I did not even notice the weight
  12. I'll second that! Currently run a Reba rlt but tested a PYGA with a rev and could not believe how good it was. If you want to have fun going down singletrack and ride all day in comfort the PYGA is the way too go. CPTMayhem's advise is spot on! I currently have a 29r HT with 71deg head angle and it's nervous as hell compared to the PYGA. Can even race the PYGA I'm sure!
