My friend already owns a GT carbon pro (2010), he has a old XTC (old!!!) which he spends most the the time riding, but would like to upgrade the xtc hence a hardtail. Reason he is asking the question is besides, Scott and the usual suspects what else is available? Just because someone has money does not necessarily mean they spend appropriatleyhence why tyhey seek some advise.

A friend of mine has a budget of R50K and is looking to buy a Hardtail 29er. What bikes should he be looking at? He has already seen the Scott Scale and the Giant XTC, Cannondale Flash and Specialised hardtail 29er's were too expensive.

Who is the best to fix a crack in my carbon MTB Hardtail? It is a hair line crack where the bottom tube and top tube meet at the stem. Can this in fact be fixed. please say yes?
