I used this stuff. Muc-Off is a well-known brand, I'd be surprised if they sold something that destroys a chain within days...

I cleaned my chain with "ultrasonic degreaser" (which seems to be water-based, no organic solvents), dried it (maybe insufficiently) and put it into wax. Within days, the chain became incredibly rusty! I mean, I've never seen anything like that, even with a 10yr old chain. So I replaced the chain, did teh same - and again, lots of rust. Even the sprockets of the cassette are full of rust (presumably from the chain) which won't go away by washing. What the hell might be going on here? This is crazy! 😵‍💫
