Thank you Barry and Ross for the response. However... I'm now completely confused as to what to do. But I do think my bike is LOOONNG overdue for a service - it's first service. So, I think that's where I'll start. Just a shout out to everyone who responded (apart from Mr Sarcastic ). I honestly appreciate the help and I'm on my way to get my bike serviced and will go from there. Happy riding all

Thanks for the response Eugene but I probably should have mentioned that I borrowed my sister's bike and the hill was absolutely no problem - hence my desire to change my bike. So... it's not about me whether I'm overweight or unfit but the bike itself.

I have a Signal S720 which I like but I battle up even a slight hill. I'd like an easier ride. Would an upgrade on the same make - the Signal S920 - be a good idea? I would appreciate any info to advise which is the correct bike for me. Thanks in advance
