But the pedals were one of my cleverest upgrades to save weight, please include pedals for the weight of a complete bike. And pedals are an important part of the bike they don`t pedal well without pedals. And MTB or Road? Should specify this cause I might accidentally personally attack a roadie and get suspended again.

SID is nice in that it is very easy to modify to be 80, 100 or 120mm . Just add/remove the spacers inside. Not sure if current models have this ability but my 2012 SID is like this.

I say cut`em by 10mm each side and see how it goes, maybe cut another 10mm later if you still want to. I like it 660-680mm for 29er.
