  1. That's what I was thinking, once you've been paid out do the wheels belong to the post office?
  2. Everyone from Pretoria looks dodgy to me!
  3. The only reason you go to Cajees is for the tools. Just walk up to the counter and you'll find a whole bunch of them
  4. Yip I agree with the whole left to right idea and just to add that I keep a clear plastic "sandwich" bag in my right pocket and then just slip the litter in there when its done. Saves the mess of remaining gu with very little hassle. Other riders do tend to judge me when I'm licking the sandwich bag clean after the race tho.
  5. Local bike joint? I actually meant to say LBS obviously but the "S" on my keyboard gets stuck sometimes so I substitute it with a J. Don't you? Jorry guys
  6. Unfortunately its downhill all the way from Houghton to Mozambique. Sorry bout your loss bud, I'm still looking for mine too. I read a thread of one dude identifying his bike in the argus! So just buy an old bike for the 94.7 and buy a lead reinforced pump. But in the mean time we'll all pull off any gardener who thinks that by turning the bar vertical and putting a tennis ball in the spokes is enough to disguise a R5000 bike.
  7. Leewees: http://maps.google.co.za/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&source=embed&oe=UTF8&msa=0&msid=216292956786383627238.00049c8dc02428640690a
  8. Leewee's is in the Featherbrooke Mall (I think thats what its called). Off Hendrik Potgieter going towards Muldersdrift you'd turn right into Peter Place and then first right @robot, first right into the mall. Head towards the Woolies food and I'm sure you'll spot it. Jeez when I read this back to myself I realised I sound like an attendant at the BP. Help from someone else?
  9. And just to add: anyone looking for a good deal in Roodepoort, go to LeeWee's cycles and speak to Andrew. The guy is a legend and extremely knowledgeable and willing to give awesome advice.
  10. I have gone thru this whole thread and I have such sympathy for you HL. I promised myself never to buy anything from Cajees and never to support them with any word of mouth due to service and being just plain ignorant about cycling in general. They are just such a massive rip off with everything. (Eg. Shimano whR550 wheelset is exactly double than at my LBJ) Trust me you'll find anything cheaper anywhere else! The ONLY time you go to Cajees is if your bike is stolen and you need an insurance quote because with the payout you can replace your bike from another shop and end world hunger.
