Have the same problem. My CRC order is sitting at Capemail at the moment. They have referred me to a clearing agent who has quoted me R295 irrespective of the value of my parcel. Clamping down, or is this another rippoff?

Just to clear up any confusion, the daily R10 deductions are made on your cellphone account and in my case neither Nashua Mobile or Vodacom could stop them. In fact Nashua Mobile could not even tell me who was doing the deductions.

Every now and then you will see a little quiz block on THE HUB web page saying "Test your brain age" Don't attemt to answer it. It is a con where *-***** ask you to sms a number to them and you expect an answer to the quiz, but instead you are subscribing to them at R10 per day until you cancel. The challenge is you only find out you have been conned when you get your monthly bill and then it is a mission to find out who is billing you for what, because you are actually getting nothing. If anyone needs to know the name of the company, PM me. I lost over R900.00 before I tracked them down. Their reply is "did'nt you read the fine print?"

Enraged to report yet another cyclist down, this time hit by a bus, between the Big Bay turnoff and Doodles restaurant along Table View beachfront. His condition does not look too critical at this stage, but he has been taken off in an ambulance. Folks this is crazy stuff. We need a serious concerted awareness campaign of some sort ... anyone with any good ideas?

Thanks colonel ... I kind of thought there must be a logical answer. For the rest of us we are left with fisherman stories of how we actually finished far sooner than our posted times

Did the West Coast Express PPA fun ride this morning. Lekker fast race in near perfect weather conditions. Our group ended in a bunch sprint for the line and guess what !!! single file finish line over timing mats. It was a case of stop, wait in line and push bike over timing mats. For me it doesn't matter whether I came 20th or 30th in the my fun ride group, but how do the Elite and league riders cope with this? I am fairly new to cycle racing, is this single file finsh line the norm? Seems very strange to me .....

I saw a Swiss cycling team at Cape Town airport yesterday and an Australian cycling team on the road going past Tygervalley this morning. Anyone know whats cooking?
