  1. How does van Gaalens half compare to Magalies Monster half?
  2. Very lekker ride on the half. Had to quickly learn how to ride through sand Excellent route markings. Difficult first half of the half though! Do agree with that third water table - those 2 guys were rocking it!
  3. Did the 30km. Quite enjoyed the fast flowing single tracks. Loved the beer voucher at the end instead of the usual medal
  4. Also enjoyed the race! Excellent route, route markings, marshalls, water tables... Will defn do this one in years to come and am recommending it to all my friends
  5. Fun day on the half... pity about the merging thing at the end... would have loved to ride more of the downs but had to get out of the way for the riders on the long most of them screaming at us to get out of the way when there were only one line.... not nice.... bad from the organisers.... Did the 12km run yesterday... turned out to be 13.5km.... simply had no legs after the ride Nice route though with the river boulder scramble thing
  6. Will this help? http://www.thebigredbarn.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/JCF-Barn-Routes.pdf
  7. In September (9th and 10th) there will be a 120km adventure race in Parys - also a Kinetic Events event. Try to find 3 friends to make a team and just go have fun on your first race. Alternatively you can enter as a pair. But the main category is mixed 4 - usually three guys and a girl. Also be on the look for the next sprint race (25km) in June by Marks Park Sports club - for teams of 2.
  8. So.... we will all be at EA in the Cedarberg next year?
