  1. did you get an answer on this?? What you could use as a wedge?? I have a leg length descrepency of 2.6cm. I build up to about 1.7 cm. the only problem is that when i unclip from my MTB pedal, the whole cleat turns to and eventually comes loose. On my road bike this is not an issue. Any ideas greatly appreciated. thx
  2. I emailed them and they say it will only be done next month. That means they have not done it for 2 months now.
  3. I was in JHB for the 94.7 this weekend. I needed to buy a tube and so I decided to go to Cajees. I just a bought a Kenda Long Value tube for a road bike which they charged me R70.00 for. Yes that is right R70.00. I said to the guy that they made a mistake but he said that this what they normally go for. I told him that I had bought other tubes like this for around R45 and that he was ripping me off. He was absolutely not interested in discussing this further. Bike shops like these need to be avoided as they give cycling a bad name and prohibit people from entering the sport. So, how many other people have they ripped off????!!!!
  4. Well well well fandacious, It seens that you have just been relegated to a Panzie, welcome to the club. May next time there will be more talk than action!!!!! At least Velouria can back up his comments with actions - my hat off to you mate for enduring that wicked weather. Congrats!
  5. I can't believe that the event is going ahead based on all the weather warnings for the weekend, including the predictions from Windguru and Weathersa. If the PPA can postpone the 1 tonner then there is no reason why this can't be postponed. The organisers obviously feel that they have the entrant's money now so let's keep it. This is very short sighted and what could turn out to be the DC for MTB'ers will not start off on a good note. Apparantly the organisers say that it will be too much effort to postpone now - "so let's take the easy way out" and put the MTD'ers at risk in storm and gale force conditions. Nice one AMArider's so much for the MTB sport you are "avid"supporters of!!!!!!!
  6. hey, nice to see some pic's already. thx
